Garnet is one of the Starstones that has been recently added with the latest patch of Palia. It is one of the minable gems that you can get through mining the mine deposits scattered throughout the Palian World. As there are several types of mine deposits through which you can get certain types of resources, one of the mine deposit types has a chance to drop Garnet while mining.
In this guide, we’ll go over where to find Garnet in Palia.
Where to Find Garnet in Palia
Garnet can be found throughout the Bahari Bay map zone by mining any size of Iron deposits. The Iron Nodes are only located in the Bahari Bay map zone and you will require a Standard Pickaxe to mine the Iron Nodes of any size, Small, Medium, and Large. The drop rate of Garnet is low and you never know from which size of iron node you will get a Garnet. We find our first one from mining the Small Iron Node on the east side of Bahari Bay.
Upon reaching Bahari Bay, keep going east and look for deposits that have Black Ores on them alongside the mountains. You can find several deposits of Iron Ores on the higher ground near the Hideaway Bluffs area. After finding the nodes with Iron Ores on them, equip the Standard pickaxe by holding the R Button. Hold the Left-Click to mine the rocks to get the Iron Ores and Garnet if lucky.
Use of Garnet in Palia
Garnet is an uncommon rarity of Starstones with associated qualities of Leadership and Perseverance. Its selling price is 400 Gold and it is liked by Hodari, Delaila, and Sifuu. If you happen to find a Garnet, you can gift it to any of the characters who like it and it will activate a secret dialogue and count as a favorite gift for them which will give you the same friendship bonus as a loved gift.
