Fisch Easter Eggs

A lot of games have easter eggs, hidden away for players to find. In Fisch, it works a bit differently, at least for now. While there aren’t any secrets to find across the islands, there are certain fishes that have shiny variations inspired by well-known titles or characters.

Inspired Shiny Fish

Hermes Boot from Terraria
The Shiny version of the BootTurns the boot green, with a white wing on the side
Fish inspired by Sans from Undertale
The Shiny version of the SkelefishTurns the fish white with black eyes that have neon blue pupils (like Sans). The middle of its body is blue to represent the jacket Sans wears
Magikarp
Catching the Shiny version of the Carp turns it into Magikarp from the Pokemon franchiseThe body of the fish turns orange, adding a white tail, yellow fins, and white eyes with small black pupils
Subspace Tripmine
The Shiny version of the Sea Mine catch turns into a Subspace Tripmine, which is a piece of Roblox gear from 2009A box holds the Sea Mine in the middle, with glass walls and black edges
King Jellyfish

Cosmetic Changes

Captain’s Goldfish
While it isn’t based on any characters, in particular, the Shiny version of the Captain’s Goldfish gets a neat golden crown!
Catfish
Gives the Catfish cat-like features, such as pointy ears, a pink nose, and whiskers, whilst turning the fish into a tuxedo cat with black and white details
Dolphin
The Shiny variant of the Dolphin gets a colourful beachball on its nose
Crab
The Crab, in its Shiny form, gets a smart little top hat on the side of its head and wears golden claws
Nessie
The Shiny version of Nessie also gets a top hat, but sports a tie on its neck
Duck
The Shiny duck joins the darkness, as it grows red horns, and a red beak, and its body turns black
