Fisch Conception Conch Guide
The Conception Conch was originally only bought within Vertigo, the area found when jumping into strange whirlpools. Priced at 444C$, its sole purpose is to let players leave Vertigo and return to the islands. However, shortly after the Desolate Deep update, the Conception Conch joined the market stall there for the same retail price.
If carried at all times, this simple and cheap item allows you to bypass the need for ships and fast travel! Kind of… If you pay to set your spawn on any of the main islands, you’ll be able to instantly return with the Conception Conch. Please note though that the item is a one-time use, so you’ll need multiple if you want to repeat this action.
My tip for this hack is to set your spawn inside the Desolate Deep. This evasive area deep in the ocean sits guarded by abandoned sea mines and thin caves. It’s terrifying to try to navigate (unless I’m just Zoro-coded). But, it’s such a key area to visit as also connects to the Brine Pools. Setting spawn here means you have three ways to instantaneously return:
Conception Conch: Cheap, effective.Death: If you allow yourself to drown you’ll teleport back to the Desolate, but you’ll also lose a huge chunk of your cash… Though more expensive than the Conch…Relog: Free, but takes the longest and doing so risks losing events if you join a new server.
Plus, leaving the Desolate isn’t as hard as entering. To the side of the Merchant at the Desolate Pool sits a portal that instantly teleports you in front of the Merchant on Sunstone Island.
