Spider-Man 2’s PS5 Pro update (version 1.004.000) added Performance Pro and Fidelity Pro modes. The former targets 60 fps while using PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) for high image quality. The latter sticks to 30 fps while allowing players greater control over ray-tracing features.

New graphical toggles allow players to adjust ray-tracing effects like Key Light Shadows, Reflections & Interiors, and Ambient Occlusion.

Spider-Man 2 is among 80+ PS5 Pro enhanced games confirmed ahead of the console’s launch next week on Thursday, November 7. Despite its hefty price tag, PS5 Pro is one of the most preordered gaming product on Amazon in a number of countries.
