The latest update introduced Anime Vanguards Tournaments, and there’s a lot to go over! I’ll explain how to join one, the rules, the map, and all of the rewards you can win.

Anime Vanguards Tournaments Guide
Tournaments are a new game mode added in update 1 of Anime Vanguards. They’re great for changing your gameplay, practicing strategizing, and winning some great rewards.
To join a tournament, head to the Todu (inspired by Todo from JJK) NPC located in the lobby. You can find him just outside of the ‘Play’ area. Interact with him to join one.
Each tournament lasts 20 minutes, and your aim is to deal the most amount of damage compared to any other player who is participating. What’s great about this new game mode is that you can toggle your traits on or off. This means that if you have a powerful unit with a good trait equipped, you can still use it when playing! As the goal is to deal the most damage, I suggest you enable the traits to give your units an additional boost in power.
The map you play on changes every week. One week it may be Planet Namak, and the next it may be Double Dungeon!
Tournament Rewards
There are a bunch of rewards up for grabs if you win a tournament. Let’s take a look at what you can win:
Exclusive Mahito unit
The Mahito unit, known as Mohato in-game, is one of the best (and rarest) rewards you can get. Keep in mind he is not guaranteed, so you may have to play and win a few times before obtaining him.

Gems
