Anime Vanguards Itadori – Is There an Evolution?

The Anime Vanguards Itadori unit is a weird one! He’s Mythical, but he doesn’t have an evolution… at least not yet.

Anime Vanguards Itadori

Itadori, known as Itaduri in Anime Vanguards, is based on Yuji from the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise. You have a 0.5 chance of summoning a Mythical unit in general, but Itaduri specifically has a drop rate chance of 2.1%. This puts him on the rarer side of the Mythics!

He’s quite a fast unit, with a base Speed Per Attack of 5.5. While he has a range of 18, he does work best with close combat, but not quite melee. Itadori’s passive ability is called ‘Cursed Vessel’, which increases his DMG and RNG stats by 10% and reduces his Speed Per Attack by a further 10%.

Itadori Evolution

Strangely, Itadori doesn’t have an evolution at the moment. This is odd, as most Mythical rarity units have an evolved form. The consensus is that it’s still in the works, or that the developers are keeping it a secret.

With this being Yuji Itadori, it only makes sense that the evolution turns him into Sukuna. If you’ve read the manga or watched the anime, you’ll know what I mean!

However, it’s unknown why Sukuna isn’t included in the initial update. Either the developers have an event planned, or he’ll be added to Anime Vanguards later. When this may happen is still a mystery!

The only hint we have regarding the addition of Sukuna is that you can obtain Cursed Fingers (which are his) by taking part in the Shibuya Station Infinite mode. It’s a nod to the villain, but where is he?
