First Look Teaser for Renny Harlin’s ‘The Strangers – Chapter 2’ Horror

“This world is infected by evil… and its people are capable of such madness.” Ain’t that the truth! Lionsgate has unveiled a teaser trailer for the next horror offering in the current The Strangers trilogy of movies, all of them directed by Finnish filmmaker Renny Harlin (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4, Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Deep Blue Sea). The Strangers – Chapter 2 is “the chilling next chapter of The Strangers franchise” which began (as a complete restart) in the summer of 2024 earlier this year with The Strangers – Chapter 1 (trailer here). It’s not really a prequel or a sequel, it’s a re-imagining of this masked killers horror franchise. No plot details are included for Chapter 2 after the the couple on a honeymoon are tormented in Chapter 1. It was shot simultaneously with the first & third chapters between May and October 2022 in Slovakia. Director Renny Harlin has explained that these next two movies in The Strangers reboot trilogy will “go in completely different directions” than the first one and they will be “epic”. Okay!
