“We could make a movie with real pain in it. A story only you and I could tell…” Shudder has unveiled the official trailer for the indie found footage horror series The Creep Tapes, the highly anticipated sort of sequel in the Creep horror franchise. Co-produced and co-created by Mark Duplass and director Patrick Brice, the indie horror film Creep 1 opened in 2015, and Creep 2 arrived in 2017. They’ve quietly become cult hits streaming on Shudder, which is why they are continuing with even more footage. The Creep Tapes explores a collection of video tapes from a serial killer who hires victims under false pretenses to film him. Each episode features a new victim. “Unravel the twisted mind of a serial killer as he lures victims to film his life, only to reveal his deadly intentions.” They also state: “yes — Peachfuzz is back.” Mark Duplass stars again as “Peachbuzz”, Brice is back directing, the rest is a mystery. Instead of another new film, there will be 6 episodes of The Creep Tapes to watch streaming on Shudder in November. Click “play” below if you dare. // Continue Reading ›
