How to Complete The Timon Talk Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
To start The Timon Talk quest, players must first complete the Curious About Critters quest for Timon and reach Friendship Level 7 with him. After that, the quest will be available to start by speaking to Timon.
Take a picture of Timon and gather materials for his billboard
Upon speaking to Timon, he will tell you that he has an idea of starting a Timon Talk but he needs some advertising. First, take a picture of Timon and then start gathering the following materials.
24x Softwood – Spawn near the trees in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust biomes.
4x Gold Ingot – Craft at the Crafting Station.
24x Glass – Craft at the Crafting Station.
After gathering all the materials, go to any crafting station and craft 4 Timon Billboards. You can find the recipe for Timon Billboard under the Furniture tab of the crafting station.
Place Timon Billboard in The Valley
After crafting the billboards, place one in the following biomes of The Valley.
Peaceful Meadow
Dazzle Beach
Forest of Valor
Sunlit Plateau
Listen to Timon Talk
Now, speak with Simba and go to Pride Rock to meet Timon. Speak to Timon and then join the crowd to listen to Timon Talk. Once Timon has finished his talk, speak to him again.
Gather the unique ingredients
After listening to Timon Talk, you need to gather various ingredients from different biomes of the Valley. Firstly, gather the following ingredients from the secret chamber in the Frosted Heights.
Night Mushrooms
Night Thorn Nuts
Both of these items will be on the ground in the secret chamber. Once done, go to the cursed cave in the Dazzle Beach biome and pick up the Unfortunate-Fish Bones. After that, go to the Sunlit Plateau biome and fish out the Clay-Soaked Salt from the gold ripple in the river.
Gather the ingredients for Timon’s creative meals
Now, gather the following ingredients to make creative meals.
1x Chili Pepper – Purchase it from Goofy’s Stall in the Sunlit Plateau biome for 117 Star Coins.
1x Milk – Purchase it from Chez Remy restaurant for 230 Star Coins.
1x Cucumber – Purchase it from Goofy’s Stall in the Frosted Heights biome for 239 Star Coins.
1x Lettuce – Purchase it from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow biome for 12 Star Coins.
2x Tomato – Purchase it from Goofy’s Stall in the Dazzle Beach biome for 33 Star Coins.
Once you have all the ingredients, go to any cooking station and cook the following two creative meals.
Glowing Purple Salad – 1x Night Mushrooms, 1x Night Thorn Nuts, 1x Tomato, 1x Lettuce, 1x Cucumber.
Unfortunate-Fish Soup – 1x Unfortunate-Fish Bones, 1x Clay-Soaked Salt, 1x Tomato, 1x Milk, 1x Chili Pepper
Bring the creative meals to Anna and Elsa
After cooking the creative meals, open the map to find Anna and give her the Glowing Purple Salad. Now, find Elsa and give her the Unfortunate-Fish Soup meal. Once done, go to Timon and speak with him.
Catch Fireflies in The Lion King Realm
Go or fast travel to the Lion King Realm and catch 2 Fireflies from the Jungle. We found 1 firefly in the river jungle area and the second firefly in the camp area. Make sure to press the interaction key when getting close to fireflies to catch them. After catching the fireflies, go back to The Valley and bring the Fireflies to Moana. Once done, go back to Timon and speak with him.
Uncle vs. Nephew contest
Speak with Donald Duck to get a treasure map. Open the inventory and use it to see the marked locations on the map.
Go to Ariel’s Island by using the raft on Skull Rock Island, and then dig out the treasure chest on the island to find the first treasure.
The second treasure chest is just outside the Cursed Cave on Dazzle Beach. Dig it out to find the second treasure.
The third treasure chest is on the western shore of Dazzle Beach close to the entrance to the Glade of Trust biome. Dig out the treasure chest to find the final treasure.
After finding all three treasure chests, speak with Donald Duck.
Ending the Quest
Now, speak with Timon and go through the dialogues. After that, speak to Timon’s best friends, Simba and Pumbaa individually. Once done, speak to Timon again to conclude the quest.
Rewards
Completing The Timon Talk quest gives 1,320 Friendship Points as a reward.
