The Mythic Rod, officially called the ‘Mythical Rod’ in-game, is a late-game rod that costs quite a bit of cash!
How to Get the Mythic Rod
You need to encounter the Travelling Merchant to purchase the Mythic Rod. However, it’s not guaranteed to be available in his wares every time. Once you do meet him and he’s got it in stock, he sells the rod for a total of $110K.
Mythic Rod Stats
The passive ability for the Mythic Rod grants you a buff when it comes to obtaining Mythical fish. When fishing with the Mythic Rod, you have a 30% chance to reel in a fish of the Mythical rarity, which has a 4.5x value increase when selling.

Best Enchants
With any strong rod, you need to add an Enchant with it to make it even better. There are 4 Enchants that work best with the Mythic Rod:
Mutated
Your Mutation Luck increases by 7%, which adds to the overall sell value of a fish
Blessed
The chance of obtaining a Shiny or Sparkling fish increases by 2%, on top of the 30% chance of getting a Mythical
Resilient
Increases the Resilience stat of the rod by 35%. With the Mythic Rod not having any additional Resilience, this Enchant is very useful!
Steady
Your Progress Loss is reduced by 25%, making the minigame much easier
