Chapter One: Some Serious Beeswax – Walkthrough

Investigate the Booming Music

Leave Jot’s house and go to the next house on the right side. Enter through the door to reach Moonbeard’s House who is a friendly Wizard and blasting some music. Here, he will ask for you to get him some Beeswax from Benny Bee in Honey Peak.

Get Beeswax for Moonbeard

After getting the quest from Moonbeard, head to the Woods on the right side. Here, you will get to use the sword and defeat the Goblins. Moreover, if you destroy the bushes by attacking with the sword, you will get Light Bulbs (primary currency). Continue to the right side and defeat the Goblins in the area.

Instead of heading to the path on the right at the end of the page, go up and destroy the bushes to find a hidden path. The gate will open for the Plucky Squire which will lead you to Honey Peak. Once at the Honey Peak, you will get to do a bit of platforming. Head along the platforms and defeat the Goblins along the way to reach Benny Bee.

Defeat the Honey Badger

A boxing match against Jot and the Honey Badger will take place in which you have to defeat the Honey Badger to save Beeswax of Benny Bee. To defeat Honey Badger, perform Jab and Hook attacks repeatedly until you see a dodge prompt on the screen to dodge a punch from the Honey Badger. Upon depleting the HP of Honey Badger, you will defeat it.

Benny Bee will happily give you some Beeswax and a cutscene will start. As the cutscene ends, the quest for Moonbeard will end and you will be required to reach the Tome Tower.

Go to Tome Tower

Head to the path on the right in the Woods. Defeat the Goblins in the area and follow the path to a locked gate. The gate will have “The” and “Swung” letters and will be missing two letters. You need to find the rest of the two letters and place them correctly to open the gate. The first letter “Gate” will be inside the bush on the left side, and the other letter “Open” will be dropped by one of the Goblins on the right side near the tree.

After finding the letters, place the “Gate” after “The”, and place “Open” at the end to form, the “The Gate Swung Open” sentence. The gate will open and you will run into Martina, a merchant. Here, you can purchase a Sword Throw Badge and Art Scroll from her for Light Bulbs. It is best to get the Sword Throw Badge as it will allow you to throw your sword at enemies.

Now, continue ahead and defeat the bird creatures to reach the path to Tome Tower. A cutscene will begin here which will conclude the first chapter.
