New ‘Resident Evil Village’ iPhone 15 Pro Technical Analysis Video Covers Graphics Settings, Frame Rate, and More

Following yesterday’s Resident Evil Village (Free) launch from Capcom on the iPhone 15 Pro series and supported iPad models, MrMacRight on YouTube who does amazing technical analysis videos for games on Apple hardware, has done one on the newly released port just like with Wreckfest and other graphically intensive ports on the platform. This video goes over the various graphics options, presets, and how the iPhone 15 Pro handles Resident Evil Village in different parts of the game. He says there will be another video covering the game on iPads, and I’ll likely update this story when that video goes up as well. I haven’t played Resident Evil Village on iPad at all, and have just been playing it myself on iPhone 15 Pro. It required about 7.92GB downloaded once you get the initial download from the App Store done. You can then sample it for free before buying the full game. A release celebration discount is live for the game from now until November 20th as revealed last week.The regular pricing for the base game is a $39.99 unlock with a $19.99 in app purchase for the Winters’ Expansion DLC. There is also a $4.99 All Access Voucher DLC. For the iOS launch, Capcom has discounted the base game unlock to $15.99, the Winters’ Expansion to $9.99, and the All Access Voucher to $1.99. Following Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake is due this year for iPhone 15 Pro, iPad (M1 and later) models, and macOS.
