Visions of Mana is an open-world ARPG with various regions and biomes that you will get to explore throughout the journey. Traveling across the world can be tiring but it can be made easier by unlocking the mounts. There are multiple mounts that you will come by as you progress through the story and the first one that you can unlock is Pikul.

How to Unlock Pikul Mount in Visions of Mana
The Pikul Mount is unlocked by reaching the Fallow Steppe during the first chapter of the main story. As you progress through the Rime Cliffs (snowy region), you will eventually proceed to Fallow Steppe where you will be tasked to reach the Rhata Harbor. On your way to Rhata Harbor, go to the main road leading from the archway of the small town to initiate a cutscene.
During the cutscene, you will meet Meelpa who will be riding on Pikul. He will give you a Beckon Bell, a key item used to summon Pikul at any time.
After the cutscene, Pikul Mount will be unlocked and you can ride it to traverse across Fallow Steppe quickly. Moreover, the Beckon Bell can be used either from the shortcut menu or the ring menu. Using the shortcut menu will allow you to summon Pikul instantly, whereas, opening the ring menu will pause the game until you select and use the bell.
Pikul is essential for traveling quicker across the world but it can also be used to ram through the smaller enemies on the path, allowing you to avoid any unnecessary fights.
