The fantasy world in Visions of Mana is marched by merciless enemies and bosses that players will encounter throughout their exploration and progression of the game. Every area from the beginning of the game to the end game has its own level of difficulty and can challenge players frequently if they are under level.

Best Ways to Level Up Your Characters in Visions of Mana
All of your characters are either in a 3-man party or at the background level up by gaining XP. XP is granted by eliminating enemies/bosses and if there is any XP Boost applied at the moment, you will gain a bonus percentage of the total XP. There are three ways through which you can apply the XP Boost that will help you earn more XP and level up the characters quickly.
1. Interact with Valorflies
The best XP Boost that you can apply in your exploration of Visions of Mana comes from interacting with Valorflies. These are the Red/Pinkish butterflies flying at a certain location every time and provide 100% (double) XP for one minute.
If you run into any Valorfly, open the map and mark the current location so that you don’t forget its location. Interact with the butterfly to activate the boost and then go around the area to eliminate the enemies for double XP gain.
2. Consume Cookies
Another great way to apply a decent amount of XP Boost for your XP Gain is by consuming cookies. There are three different types of cookies that you can find in Visions of Mana. All of them are rare but each type provides a higher XP Boost Percentage than the other.
Curious Cookie: Temporarily increases XP gained by 10%.
Miracle Cookie: Temporarily increases XP gained by 15%.
Mythic Cookie: Temporarily increases XP gained by 20%.
All of these cookies’ XP boost bonuses last for ten minutes which is enough for you to cover a large area with enemies and earn a high amount of XP.
3. Complete Battle Bonuses
During your encounter with enemies in the open world, there are multiple battle bonuses that you can complete for a certain XP bonus over the total XP.
Win without taking damage: +5%
Win within 10 seconds: +3%
Win within 20 seconds: +2%
Win within 30 seconds: +1%
Defeated enemies with a special move: Number of enemies defeated x0.4%
However, if you manage to defeat an enemy in under 10 seconds, you will only gain a +3% XP bonus, and the XP bonus for 20 and 30 seconds will not be included. Moreover, winning the battle without taking any damage will grant you 5% XP bonus every time so, early areas of the game are the best option for you to farm XP with these battle bonuses.
