Star Wars Outlaws offers four different Crime Syndicate factions that Kay will meet as players progress through the main story. Meeting the crime syndicates will give you an introduction to the Reputation System which can be overwhelming in the beginning, but it is a very easy system to understand.

The whole point of the Reputation System is to create better relationships with crime syndicates to get exclusive rewards such as gear and armor pieces, but it is also crucial for the main story. However, annoying any syndicate faction can make you a target for them who will then send out Death Squads to hunt you.

Fortunately, there is an easy way through which you can easily maximize the Reputation with all factions in Star Wars Outlaws.

How the Reputation System Works in Star Wars Outlaws

There are four crime syndicate factions in Star Wars Outlaws that you will meet in your journey as Kay, and each faction has five reputation statuses that indicate your relationship with a corresponding faction. The reputation status for every faction starts with Terrible and ends with Excellent.

Poor

Good

Excellent

Having a higher reputation status like Good and Excellent will allow you to certain areas within the faction districts that are normally restricted. It makes a lot of sides and main missions of the game easier as you won’t have to stealthily cross the restricted areas. Moreover, you will receive exclusive armor sets by reaching every higher reputation status.

Now, to increase the Reputation rank/status with any syndicate faction, you will have to select the faction whenever you are provided with a choice. These choices are often given at the end of the main missions, side missions, and contracts. Whichever one you choose, will give you a certain boost in reputation with the corresponding faction and probably increase your rank.

Best Way to Increase Reputation with Factions in Star Wars Outlaws

The primary way of increasing the reputation of any faction is by completing the main missions, but this alone won’t make you rank up to the highest status for every faction. Furthermore, you can undertake several side quests in certain districts to get more choices and increase your reputation with corresponding factions.

However, the best method to maximize the reputation of any faction is by completing the Contracts. Contracts are the repeatable method in the game providing both simple and difficult jobs that you can pursue to earn a great chunk of reputation for the factions.

You can find the contracts on the map with a ‘handshake’ icon and if you go to the Contract Brokers, you will see several contracts requiring you to steal a certain thing from a space orbit or make a cargo delivery. Moreover, there are also contracts that you can fulfill on the land but most of them can be difficult as they require you to sneak into the restricted areas.

It is best to pursue any contract available in a space orbit and complete it, which will only take around a minute, and then make the choice of a faction with which you want to increase the reputation. Rinse and repeat to reach the maximum reputation rank for your favorite faction.
