Having a better relationship with factions can earn you various advantages that will help you progress easily in the main story.
One of the side missions that you can come across by having a Good Reputation with the Pykes is the Counterfeit Credits in which you have to find the Counterfeit Credits in Crimson Dawn Vault and make a choice of either warning Crimson Dawn or telling the Pykes. Starting the Quest
The Counterfeit Credits is a side quest in Star Wars Outlaws which you can begin by selling any item to a merchant named Hen Puon located between the Crimson Dawn and Pyke Districts in Mirogana. Moreover, you need to have a Good Reputation for the merchant to give you Counterfeit Credits in return when you an item to him which mainly starts the quest.
Get to Crimson Dawn Vault
To find out the truth behind Counterfeit Credits, you need to make your way to the Crimson Dawn Vault which is a restricted section that you cannot normally access even with the Good Reputation. Follow the quest marker to the Crimson Dawn District either by walking through the Market District or through the vent to the left of the main entrance.
Once inside, make your way to the central area of the district and stealthily approach the main platform from the boxes on the right side. Use the boxes on the platform as the cover and make your way to the pipe with the rotating fan. Let the guards go to a safe distance and then order Nix to hold down the lever to stop the fan.
Cross through the fan and into the pipe, and follow the quest marker stealthily to make your way into the Crimson Dawn Vault via a ladder. Upon reaching the vault, you will find a crate of Counterfeit Credits and get the choice of either warning Crimson Dawn or telling the Pykes. Making your final choice will conclude the Counterfeit Credits quest.
Should You Warn Crimson Dawn or Tell Pykes at the End of Counterfeit Credits Quest?
The best option here is to warn Crimson Dawn as it will raise your Poor Reputation to almost Good and doesn’t affect your Reputation with Pyke that much. If you have a good status with Pyke, it will remain good even after not telling them about the Counterfeit Credits.
