Black Myth: Wukong offers various abilities for the Destined One that players can utilize in unique combos to deal extensive damage to foes and bosses. One of the essential abilities in the game is a Spirit Skill which turns the Destined One into a corresponding form and performs a signature move of the spirit.

There are several useful spirit skills that players will come across and absorb as they progress through the main story, but there are many hidden spirit skills as well that players can easily miss. One such powerful Spirit Skill is Mad Tiger which players can get in Chapter 2: Yellow Sand, Desolate Dusk.

This guide will help you get the Mad Tiger Spirit Skill in Black Myth: Wukong.

How to Get the Mad Tiger Spirit Skill in Black Myth: Wukong

The Mad Tiger Spirit Skill is obtained by defeating the Mad Tiger who is a Yaoguai Chief and a Secret Boss in Chapter Two of the game. Unlike the regular boss encounters that players will witness by progressing through various areas within the chapter, the Mad Tiger is located inside a Well which is only accessible by completing the Old Rattle-Drum side quest.

During the Old Rattle-Drum quest, you need to use the drum key item in different locations to find the boy’s soul. The final location for the boy’s soul is in Sandgate Village where you fight the Earth Wolf. Go to the statue on the right in the boss fight area and you will see the well past the wooden barricade.

Head over to the well and use the old rattle-drum key item to initiate a cutscene in which the boy jumps down the well. Now, interact with the well to jump down and start the boss fight with Mad Tiger. Defeating the Mad Tiger will drop its spirits which you can absorb to get the Mad Tiger Spirit Skill.

NOTE: Make sure to equip the Mad Tiger in your equipment tab to use it.

Using the Mad Tiger Spirit Skill takes the form of a Mad Tiger. Roar with terrifying might to shock surrounding foes and deal area Damage to the front.
