Black Myth: Wukong is the hottest topic in the current gaming scene as it had the biggest launch of the year, securing the top spot for most concurrent players on Steam for a Single-player video game. The game itself has highly demanding PC requirements, but it seems like the Raptor Lake (Intel’s 13th and 14th-gen CPUs) instability causes issues in Black Myth: Wukong.
The developers of Black Myth: Wukong are aware of the shader’s compilation problem and posted a possible fix on the launch date of the game in the Steam Community. However, despite the warning and the solution, the popular streamer Asmongold on Twitch proceeds to run the Shader Compilation to see whether it completes successfully or not.
You can see a clip of Black Myth: Wukong Shader’s Compilation Process crashing on Asmongold’s stream on this link.
Well, as expected, the ‘Out of video memory’ error appeared on the screen at 24.59% progress. Moreover, Asmongold didn’t stop there and restarted the game to test it out again. On the other hand, Chat started predictions to see what percentage of the game shaders process will get to before it crashes. Amusingly, every time it crashed, it was on a higher percentage than the last time.
However, despite the early problems, Asmongold rated Black Myth: Wukong 9 – 9.5 out of 10.
