Back from the Bayou is the first Friendship Quest for Tiana that players can initiate after unlocking Tiana and reaching Friendship Level 2 with her. This guide will walk you through the Back from the Bayou quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete the Back from the Bayou Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
Unlock the Back from the Bayou quest by welcoming Tiana to the Valley and increasing your Friendship Level with her to Level 2. Once the quest is unlocked, speak with Tiana to start the quest.
Place Tiana’s Palace in the Valley
Speaking to Tiana at the start of the quest will give you Tiana’s Palace building that she got from Merlin. Open the Building Mode and navigate to the requests section to find Tiana’s Palace. Select Tiana’s Palace and place it at a suitable location in the Valley.
After placing the palace, meet Tiana inside it. Speak with Tiana and go through the dialogues to continue ahead.
Craft and Place Tiana’s Meal Stall
Leave Tiana’s Palace after speaking with Tiana and craft Tiana’s Meal Stall at the Crafting Station. It will require the following materials to craft Tiana’s Meal Stall.
15x Glass – Crafted at the Crafting Station and can be bought from Kristoff’s Stall for 50 Star Coins.
5x Brick – Crafted at the Crafting Station and can be bought from Kristoff’s Stall for 130 Star Coins.
10x Harwood – Found on the ground near the trees in the Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and Frosted Heights biomes.
25x Softwood – Found on the ground near the trees in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust biomes.
NOTE: You can find Tiana’s Meal Stall crafting recipe under the Functional Items of the Crafting Station.
After crafting Tiana’s Meal Stall, place it near Tiana’s Palace.
Purchase the first meal from Tiana’s Meal Stall and Invite Villagers to Grand Opening
Go over to Tiana’s Meal Stall and purchase any meal from the stall. Once done, speak with Tiana and she will ask you to invite some villagers to the Grand Opening of Tiana’s Meal Stall. Speak to the following villagers to invite them to the grand opening.

Once you have invited the villagers, head back to Tiana’s Palace and check on her progress.
Craft and Place Bistro Tables and Chairs
Tiana is a bit worried about the furniture so help her by placing some Bistro Tables and Chairs near the meal stall. You need to craft 3 Bistro Tables and 6x Bistro Chairs for which you will require the following materials.
30x Softwood – Found on the ground near the trees in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust biomes.
24x Hardwood – Found on the ground near the trees in the Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and Frosted Heights biomes.
18x Fiber – Crafted at the Crafting Station and can be bought from Kristoff’s Stall for 6 Star Coins.
9x Green Rising Penstemon – Found on the ground in the Peaceful Meadow biome.
After crafting the furniture, place it near Tiana’s Meal Stall along with any 2 Elegant Decorations.
NOTE: You can find all viable decorations in the Requests section of the Furniture Mode.
Speak to Tiana and Place the Inauguration Ribbon
Once you have placed all the furniture items, head inside Tiana’s Palace and speak with her. She will give you the Inauguration Ribbon that you need to place near Tiana’s Meal Stall to kick off the Grand Opening. Take a picture of the villagers at the grand opening and then check in with the following villagers to see if they like Tiana’s Meal Stall.

After speaking with the villagers, speak with Tiana about the grand opening and go through the dialogues to conclude the quest.
Rewards
Completing the Back from the Bayou quest will give 440 Friendship Points as a reward.
