Equestrian the Game is very cutesy on the surface, but once you start scratching at it, it hides an awful lot of depth. Take the Equestrian the Game potential system, for example. It’s stumping a lot of players exactly how this system works, but we’re here to put that to rest.
In this guide, we’re going to explain all of the little nuances with the potential system, so you can take advantage of it. That way, you can skip over the horses that won’t help you in exchange for just the absolute best.
That’s not all we can help with, either. We’ve played a bunch of Equestrian the Game to ensure that you can get the most out of your time with it. We’ve put together a handy Equestrian the Game dressage guide, and an Equestrian the Game breeding guide, to help you make sense of those system too.
Equestrian the Game Potential – What is It?
That’s the easiest part to explain. Basically, each horse has a number of different abilities that you can increase, including:
MentalityStrengthSpeedJumpTrotResponsivenessStaminaTurnabilityWalkCanter
Each ability has a level attached to it, and a horse’s potential is the maximum level that horse can ever possibly achieve. So, for example, a horse might be level 16 in mentality, with a potential of level 100. That means the horse is currently level 16 and, through training, can reach a maximum level of 100.
Can I Increase My Horse’s Potential?
Sadly not. A horse’s potential is set, and there’s nothing you can do to increase it.
Instead, we recommend upgrading your Horse Market as quickly as possible. That way, you can purchase the best horses with the maximum possible potential as quickly as possible. A low level Horse Market will only provide you with horses that have low maximum potential.
The new breeding system may well provide you with a much easier method of getting horses with a higher maximum potential too.
