Depths of Moria holds many treasures in the dark that you will get to discover via exploration. Some of the treasures can be found in the open whereas, some of them are locked inside a specific chest. One of the early chests that you will find in your endeavors is the Ori’s Chest located behind a statue in the tutorial base. The chest will be locked and it will require an Ori’s Key to unlock it.

How to Unlock Ori’s Chest in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria
Unlocking Ori’s Chest will require 1x Ori Key that can only be crafted in the Forge. Forge is one of the essential workstations in the game as it is used to make all kinds of tools, weapons, and armor for you and your fellow dwarf survivors. At first, you might go out on a venture to find Ori’s Key but unfortunately, it needs to be crafted. Luckily, the Ori’s Key is easy to craft as it only requires 1x Iron Ingot as a resource to be forged.
Once you have crafted Ori’s Key in the Forge, go to the Ori’s Chest behind the statue and interact with it to unlock it and get all the loot.

Unlocking Ori’s Chest gives the following loot.
3x Iron Ingot
10x Coin
1x Bread
6x Coal
Keep in mind that once you have used Ori’s Key, it cannot be used again as it is only a one-time use and if you find another one of Ori’s Chest, you will have to craft the key again to unlock the chest.
