Beginning your new farming/life sim RPG adventure in Fields of Mistria will require you to get various tools with each one used for a certain activity. However, unlike other farming sim/survival video games, Fields of Mistria doesn’t simply hand you over the tools. Instead, you will have to either progress through the story or purchase them from various shops.
This guide will help you get all the tools early in Fields of Mistria.
How to Get All Tools Early in Fields of Mistria
Fields of Mistria offers eight different tools to be equipped by the players to perform various activities throughout the distinct areas of Mistria Village. To equip yourself with all the tools early in Fields of Mistria, you can follow these steps.
Sword: Unlocks automatically on Spring Day 1.
Hoe: Given to you automatically by Celine on Spring Day 1.
Watering Can: Given to you automatically by Hayden on Spring Day 1.
Axe: Progress to Spring Day 2 to begin a cutscene with Eiland and he will give you the Axe.
Pickaxe: Accept and complete the ‘Do a Bro a Favor’ quest for Olric on Spring Day 2 from the Quest Board in the town.
Shovel: Purchase from General Store for 500 Tessarae.
Fishing Rod: Purchase from Tackle Shop for 500 Tessarae.
Bug Net: Accept and complete the ‘Something’s Bugging Me’ quest for Luc on Spring Day 4 from the Quest Board in the town.
Earning Tessarae early in the game can be difficult, especially without the Fishing Rod. If you are struggling with money, you can wait until you unlock the mines and then start mining the copper nodes with the Pickaxe. Once done, go to the Blacksmith in the town and turn the copper ores into Copper Ingots which will allow you to make Copper Tools.
NOTE: Copper Tools are better than Worn Tools and you don’t need the base (Worn) tool variant to make Copper Tools.
