After VALORANT’s Closed Beta (started in June) and Open Beta (at the end of July), VALORANT has now officially been launched on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. It is available for free on both consoles with a cross-play and progression system between them. However, there is and will be no cross-play between the consoles and PC versions to deliver renowned standard for competitive integrity.
Moreover, Riot Games reassured the players that their Friends List, Skins, Player Cards, Banners, Gun Buddies, etc. will carry over to the full-release version. Meaning, if you have unlocked any player card, or gun buddy, or bought any weapon skin from the shop, they all will remain in your account.
Furthermore, both the PC and Console versions will receive simultaneous platform patches including balances, new agents, maps, premium content, and additional live service features.
VALORANT is available for free on PC, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
