Glimmer is one of the Timebending crafting materials added with the A Rift in Time expansion in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Similar to other Timebending crafting materials, it is exclusive to the players who own the expansion. However, unlike other parts, the Glimmer has specific locations to its name where it can be found using the Royal Hourglass tool.

Where to Find Glimmer in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Glimmer is found in various Realms instead of the Eternity Isle or the Valley zones. There are six Realms in total where it has a chance of being found.
Frozen Realm
Moana Realm
Ratatouille Realm
The Lion King Realm
Toy Story Realm
WALL-E Realm
However, to access any of these Realms, you must first unlock them. All of these Realms are accessed from the Dream Castle and once you have unlocked them using the Dreamlight (currency), you will be able to step inside them and use the Royal Hourglass tool to find Glimmer. Equip the Royal Hourglass and use it to see if there is any rift nearby, and then go closer to the rift location and use the tool again to open the rift and get Glimmer.
Royal Hourglass Upgrade Requirement for Glimmer
However, before you can open the rifts to search for Glimmer in the Realms, you first need to upgrade the Royal Hourglass to Level 2. Upgrading the Royal Hourglass to Level 2 will cost you 10,000 Mist. Once you have your Hourglass upgraded, you can find the Glimmer freely in the Realms.

Glimmer is like any Timebending crafting material and used for crafting new furniture items at the Timebending Table.
