The First Descendant offers several weapons of various tiers that players will get to find and unlock as they progress through the campaign and explore various regions of the world. Out of all the tiers of the weapons, the Ultimate is the highest tier and players can get themselves an Ultimate Weapon called The Last Dagger halfway through the journey.

How to Get the Last Dagger in The First Descendant
The Last Dagger is one of the midgame Ultimate Weapons in the game, and similar to the Descendants, the Ultimate Weapons can only be obtained by researching them. Researching The Last Dagger will require 4 exclusive materials that can only be obtained by completing certain missions over in the Echo Swamp region.
Once you have made enough progress in the campaign to unlock the Echo Swamp region, you will be able to gather all the materials by completing the respective missions.
Last Dagger Polymer Syncytium – Obtained from completing the Kuiper Transport Route mission in the Misty Woods area.
Last Dagger Synthetic Fiber – Obtained from completing the Abandoned Zone mission in the Abandoned Zone area.
Last Dagger Nano Tube – Obtained from completing the Tree of Truth mission in the Muskeg Swamp area.
Last Dagger Blueprint – Obtained from completing the Emergency Landing Strip mission in the Derelict Covert area.
NOTE: All of the missions are in different areas than the others and the only way to get access to those areas is to progress through the main story. Make sure to complete all of the main missions in each area to get to the new area and then pursue the required mission to get the next material.
All of the missions mentioned above have a drop rate of 20% for the Last Dagger materials so it will require you to farm each mission a few times before you get your hands on each material.
Research The Last Dagger
After obtaining all 4 required materials for unlocking the Last Dagger, head back to Albion and speak with Anais. Select the Weapon option and then select The Last Dagger. Researching The Last Dagger will cost you all 4 materials and 100,000 Gold.
Begin Researching for The Last Dagger and it will take 4 hours (Real Time) for the research to be complete. Fortunately, the timer will continue even if you go offline and you will be able to claim the reward of The Last Dagger exactly after 4 hours.
