Pursuing the main story and side missions in each region of the world map will reward you with several weapons and gear items of various types most of which won’t be of any use to you. As the inventory and storage slots are limited in The First Descendant, filling them with the items you don’t need might frustrate you a bit and require you to drop an item every time you find a useful item for your character.
However, instead of just dropping the weapons and components, you can sell them for Gold which might not sound interesting at all but who knows you might need more Gold for your next research at Anais. Moreover, you can also dismantle them for gaining essential materials which then can be used for leveling up your weapons and getting better components.
This guide will help you how to sell weapons and gear items in The First Descendant.
How to Sell Weapons and Gear Items in The First Descendant
The weapons and the gear items including the Reactors and Components can be sold to the Weapon Lab Director named Deslin. He is located in Albion right beside the Workbench. Head over to Deslin and interact with him to get the options of purchasing equipment and selling it. You need to select the ‘Sell’ option to sell your weapons and gear items.
Upon selecting the Sell option, it will show you all of your Weapons, Reactors, and Components on the right side from where you can choose to select the ones you wish to sell. However, selling each item will require you to first set it as Junk. You can do this in two ways, either set all items as junk by holding the Shift button (PC) or the R3/RS button (Consoles), or set the items as Junk individually.
Moreover, if you select the ‘Filter all as junk’ option, it will give you a table through which you can select the rarity and level of the items that you want to set as junk. Once you have set the items as Junk, press the designated key to sell all junk and get Gold in return.
