Leveling up in Gacha Games is one of the crucial steps in progressing the main story and it is no different in Wuthering Waves. Similar to other Gacha Games, Wuthering Waves also holds a leveling system called Union Level that measures the overall progress and power of the players. Moreover, the main acts of the story chapters are locked behind certain levels which will require players to first reach the required Union Level to continue ahead in the main story.
However, the Union Level is not leveled up somewhere easily as it requires thousands of EXP for each level. Therefore, this guide will provide you with some of the best methods to quickly level up your Union Level to continue the main story and strengthen your characters.
How to Increase the Union Level in Wuthering Waves
There are various ways through which you can earn Union EXP in Wuthering Waves and some of the generic ways are activating the Resonance Beacons, completing the random world events, and opening the supply chests which all are great and give you a decent amount of Union EXP. However, these methods shouldn’t be your first priority to gain Union EXP as there are several other methods that will grant you thousands of Union EXP daily.
Complete the Main Quests and the Side Quests
The first method you want to follow is completing all the main quests and the side quests. Completing these quests will net you around 1500 to 2000 Union EXP depending on the type of the quest. Doing so will easily get you past the Union Level 7 which is the first requirement for the story to progress. However, for the later requirements, you want to add on other methods.
Complete the Daily Activities
The best method that you can approach in increasing your Union Level is completing the Daily Activities. Open the Activity Menu to see the daily activities available for you and completing each one will reward you with Activity Points. These points are used to unlock the chests displayed at the bottom of the Activity Menu and every chest will reward you with up to 300 Union EXP which can come to a total of 1500 to 2000 Union EXP daily.
Complete Milestones
Another great method to get Union EXP quickly is to complete the Milestones. These can be found right beneath the Activity tab and all of these are simple tasks tied to your progress. Every milestone offers a decent amount of Union EXP and even though you complete all of the early ones, new ones will appear as you level up to keep getting the Union EXP off of regular tasks.
Spend Waveplates in various challenges
Last but not least, another great method to gain a decent amount of Union EXP is through completing the challenges and spending the Waveplates to retrieve the rewards for the challenges. The Waveplate is a consumable that regenerates over time and it has a maximum capacity of 240 to be stored at a time. However, it is best to keep spending them daily to not waste any regenerated Waveplates and earn 300 to 450 Union EXP from every challenge you complete.
The best challenges that you can go for getting the Union EXP without wasting any Waveplates on ascending the characters are the Boss Challenges and the Weekly Challenges. Both of these challenge types will grant you 450 Union EXP but keep in mind that you should have at least 60 Waveplates to spend once you complete the challenge, otherwise, you will not get any Union EXP along with other rewards.
Apart from these methods, don’t forget to do the exploration and pursue the generic methods of activating the Resonance Beacons and opening the Supply Chests to earn extra Union EXP.
