So, what’s the deal with the Roblox Classic Daemonshank? Originally thought to be a boss drop, this back accessory costs more than an arm and a leg.

Roblox Classic Daemonshank
Also known as the ‘Glitch Sword’, the Daemonshank is a special sword that’s only available for a limited time. Because of this, it’s deemed as a ‘flex’ to own and wield. However, at what cost?
Well, it’s funny you should say that, because it’s quite a big cost. It doesn’t provide anything other than a cosmetic purpose, making it quite redundant. Apart from looking somewhat cool, the Daemonshank weapon, or ‘Glitch Sword’, sets you back 39,999 Robux. In real money terms, that’s a whopping $400 or thereabouts. Prior to the item dropping in the marketplace, players thought that the Glitch Sword/Daemonshank was going to be a boss drop… oh how they were wrong. It would actually be better if it were a boss drop, at least more players would be able to obtain it then.
What’s the point, I hear you ask? I agree. This is probably one of the worst examples I’ve seen of a ludicrously expensive item being made available in the Roblox marketplace. I assume it won’t be available once the Classic event ends, so I do wonder how many players will end up buying it between now and then. The Daemonshank is based on the Venomshank accessory, which first came out in 2011, and was limited to 100.
I do need to mention a disclaimer: it’s not worth it. The only people who can afford to waste their money on the Daemonshank are content creators. It’s literally just an accessory for your avatar…
