Godzilla in Crisis is the second main mission for the Godzilla DLC in Dave the Diver that players will get to pursue after completing Kaiju’s Hideout mission. Once players have completed the initial mission of the DLC, they will have to spend the rest of the Night at the Sushi Restaurant to trigger the initiation of the Godzilla in Crisis mission.
This guide will walk you through how to complete Godzilla in Crisis Mission in Dave the Diver.
How to Complete Godzilla in Crisis Mission in Dave the Diver
Go to Godzilla’s Hideout
After the brief conversation with Miki, you will get to pilot the submarine of Miki. Pilot the submarine to go toward Godzilla’s Hideout in the Giant Blue Hole area. As you make your way ahead, you will see Ebirah, a giant Lobster Kaiju going after the Godzilla. Go along the path ahead and Ebirah will notice your presence and start to shake the ground to make the rocks fall.
Dodge the rocks and make your way ahead. After dodging the rocks, you need to go around the holes in the wall to avoid the strikes of Ebirah. Continue ahead and you will see two paths in front of you, go along the one at the bottom. As you cross ahead, a few more rocks will fall that you can dodge easily by using the boost.
After crossing the falling rocks, Ebirah will block your path with its claw. Use the Machine Gun to shoot at the claw to clear the path. Continue ahead to see a blocked path with rocks. Here, you need to use the Torpedo to clear the path and reach Godzilla’s Hideout.
Defeat Ebirah
Upon reaching Godzilla’s Hideout, a fight against Ebirah will take place in which you have to use the submarine to defeat Ebirah. There will be no health bar for Ebirah but to do the most damage to it, you need to target its eyes and shoot the machine gun and torpedo. Ebirah has about three main attacks in this fight, the first one is the strike where it charges its claw to strike, the second one is where it throws a rock at you, and the last one is where it shoots water at you.
All of these attacks can be predicted easily and once you see an incoming attack, stop your attack and get a distance to avoid getting hit. However, if you got hit, you can always repair the submarine by holding the RMB.
After beating Ebirah, it will flee from the area and make its way toward the surface which will lead to a cutscene.
Defeat Ebirah as Godzilla
Godzilla will come to the surface as well right after Ebirah which will lead to a fight in which you will take the role of a Godzilla. Godzilla has three attacks and one defending stance that you need to use to defeat Ebirah. Defend stance is only efficient in blocking the strike attacks of Ebirah which it does often, and for all the other attacks, you can time them to perform the same attack to avoid taking any damage.
You need to use the Dash attack whenever Ebirah is blocking to deal damage to it and use the strike or laser attack when it is not blocking. It is a very simple fight and all it requires is the timing. Make sure that you defend at the right time and do your attack properly to deal damage with every attack.
Once you have defeated Ebirah, a final cutscene will play in which Godzilla will leave the Giant Blue Hole place and it will conclude the Godzilla in Crisis Mission.
