The Slayers 2 Lucky Penny quest sends you off to search around the Bamboo Grove Sanctuary. It can feel like a bit of a needle-in-a-haystack situation, so I’ve written this Slayers 2 guide to speed things up. Slayers 2 Lucky Penny
To start the Lucky Penny quest, which you may have already done, you need to head to the Bamboo Sanctuary. This is where you’ll find Liv, the quest NPC, standing by a tree. If your current level is below 14, you’ll have to level up before you can pick up this quest.

Once you’ve spoken to him, it’s time to find the Lucky Penny, which isn’t too far away.
Lucky Penny Location
From where Liv is standing, turn around to face the little island ahead, with two bridges on either side. Make your way to the bridge on the left side and refer to the mini-map to find the wall next to the bridge. If you’re struggling to find the Lucky Penny, use the screenshot below as a reference. You’re looking for the wall that connects the island to the left bridge.

Rewards
The main point of the Lucky Penny quest is the rewards, which can be super helpful for new players, especially around the level 14 mark. When completing this quest, you get 75x Wen, 1x HP Potion, and 840 EXP. It’s a quick and easy quest that gives you an extra boost whilst progressing.
Five Hundred Pennies
You then unlock the Five Hundred Pennies quest, available once you reach level 21. Completing this rewards you with a further 270x Wen, 4x HP Potions, and 2.28K EXP. For this quest, all you need to do is collect the pennies that spawn around Liv.
Unlocking Gambling
Once you’ve completed both the Lucky Penny and Five Hundred Pennies quests, you unlock the Gambling feature with Liv. Here, you can gamble your Wen, which I don’t recommend, as it all comes down to RNG. If Liv wins, he takes all of your Wen, which, as you can imagine, sets you back quite a bit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Lucky Penny Quest Worth Picking Up?
I’d say so, especially if your level is lower. The additional EXP and Wen can come in handy, as well as the free HP Potion. If you’ve already progressed enough, it might not be worth picking up, as the rewards won’t make much of a difference, but if you’re a completionist, you might as well.
Why Can’t I Unlock the Lucky Penny Quest?
The Lucky Penny quest is locked behind level 14, so you cannot pick it up from Liv if you are below this level. The same goes for the Five Hundred Pennies quest, which requires you to be level 21 or above.
