Palia: How to Earn Dock XP

Dock XP is the new type of XP exclusive to the new Civic Project: Docks in Palia. The Civic Project is a new feature added with the recent Fall’s Faire: Petals & Portraits update. It is a new group quest-type activity in which all players can participate and donate supply boxes to the docks to complete the project. In return, players can earn numerous rewards, up to 99, by earning Dock XP. As it is a new XP in the game, it can be confusing at first. In this guide, we will explain how to earn Dock XP in Palia.

What is Dock XP & How it Works in Palia

As mentioned above, Dock XP is a new type of XP in Palia that is essential to progressing the Civic Project: Docks. The supply boxes that players have to donate to the docks reward them with Dock XP, which players can then use to claim the items from the Civic Project: Docks Lunar Path.

NOTE: Do not confuse Civic Project: Docks with the Path of the Great Sage. It is a separate Lunar Path.

The Civic Project: Docks has 99 tiers, and each tier offers different rewards, including titles, cosmetics, furniture items, currencies, consumables, and even a Valhast voucher (new mount). All of these tiers are free and only require a set number of Dock XP to unlock.

TIP: Complete the “Open for Trade” quest for Ashura to get introduced to the Civic Project: Docks.

How to Earn Dock XP in Palia

In order to unlock the tiers and claim the rewards from the Civic Project Docks, you must earn Dock XP. The only method to earn Dock XP is to donate the various supply boxes to the docks. There are 12 supply boxes that a player can craft and donate as many times as they want. There is no limit to crafting and donating these supply boxes. Moreover, these supply boxes are divided into three rarities: Basic, Standard, and Advanced. Each rarity has four different supply boxes, requiring unique materials to craft. You can craft the supply boxes either on dockside worktables or at the personal worktable in the housing plot area.

Donating a certain rarity supply box grants you a corresponding Dock XP medal, which equates to a specific amount. Here is the set amount of Dock XP for every medal you earn from donating.

Basic Supply Box (Any): Grants Minor Dock XP, which gives 350 Dock XP.

Standard Supply Box (Any): Grants Major Dock XP, which gives 700 Dock XP.

Advanced Supply Box (Any): Grants Massive Dock XP, which gives 1,400 Dock XP.
