Instead of listing out the best Hololive Dreams Builds, I’m here to help you tailor your own builds to match what you currently have available. A lot of it comes down to cards, but not everyone is lucky enough to get the super rare ones in Hololive Dreams.

So, the best advice I can give is to build your team depending on which cards you have right now, who you want as your leader, and which Outfit Skills sound the most useful to you. I’ve written a Hololive Dreams Tier List to help you decide which cards you should invest your resources into.

Hololive Dreams Builds

To build strong teams in Hololive Dreams, there are a few things to take into account.

Outfit Skills

Outfit Skills are tied to your Leader character and depend entirely on which outfit they’re wearing. For example, an Outfit Skill can provide a boost, such as:

Moon Enchantress Outfit [Moona Hoshinova]
With 2 or more ID Gen 1 members, All Stats UP increases by 50% for all
Dreamy Drop [Moona Hoshinova]
Performance UP by 100% for all

It’s common for the Outfit Skills to determine how you build the rest of your team, as some have certain requirements to be activated. As an example, the Moon Enchantress Outfit Skill only works if you have 2 or more ID Gen 1 members on the team. However, there are Outfit Skills activated by adding specific Card Types to your team.

Card Skills

Each card in Hololive Dreams features three skill types: Special Skill, Active Skill, and Passive Skill. With every card featuring different skills, it’s a good idea to select those that synergise well with your team’s Outfit Skill. Special Skills

When it comes to Special Skills, you need to think carefully about how to order members of your team, as this determines when the Special Skill can be activated.

Active Skills

Unlike Special Skills, it doesn’t matter where you place characters in your team, as Active Skills are activated at random during the song. However, some Active Skills have team requirements, so keep an eye out for those; otherwise, the card’s Active Skill will be pointless.

Passive Skills

Passive Skills are activated when the stated requirements are met. It’s a skill that is permanently available during a song with a passive effect.

Main Elements of a Card

Speaking of cards, there are three things to look out for when choosing which to use. Firstly, there are the stats provided by the card [Performance, Technique, and Sense]. Then, the Generation the card/character belongs to, and lastly, the Card Type [Pure, Cute, etc].

As mentioned in the Outfit Skills section above, the character you select as your Leader and their Outfit Skill determine how you build your team. This includes which other characters you add to the team and which cards you equip.

To get cards, you need plenty of diamonds for summons. Sho’s created a guide on how to get more diamonds in Hololive Dreams.

Holomem Boards

The Holomem Board is essentially Hololive Dream’s version of a skill tree. While many players select the ‘Auto’ feature to unlock relevant nodes automatically, it can be useful to choose which nodes work best for your team and play style specifically.

Red Nodes
Leader
Affects Performance, Sense, Technique, and All Stats UP

Green Nodes
Support
Yellow Nodes
Support

Personally, I recommend investing in the Red Nodes to make the most of your Holomem Board Points, especially since this resource feels quite limited when you’re new to the game. It’s crucial to remember that the red nodes are only applicable when you set that character as a Leader in a team. With the green and yellow nodes, providing more support-type skills and stat boosts, they are activated even if the character isn’t on your team.

Unit Score

As you build your team, take note of your Unit Score. If you make any changes and notice that the Unit Score has gone down, your best bet is to go back a step. The higher the Unit Score, the better your performance will be. It’s a useful way to find out if your current team build is synergised and effective.
