This Tier List is up to date as of July 29th, 2026.

S-TIER

Dominating the lowly souls beneath it, this tier hosts the strongest available in-game. Players who wield these souls make each trial and boss fight a breeze, as monsters crumple into dust from their sheer prowess. Any from this list are the primary Souls to focus on attaining.

Seven Souls

Determination Soul
+5,000 HP+7 Walk Speed+7 Jump Power+5,000 Mana Points
Bravery Soul
+3,500 HP+7 Walk Speed+7 Jump Power+3,500 Mana PointsPassive: After striking an enemy 8 times, gain +24% DMG.

A-TIER

Secondary to the top, these are great alternatives if you’re in the market for an upgrade and can’t afford to invest in the top-tier selection. I highly recommend these souls as they’re very versatile and offer well-rounded benefits to their wearer.

Justice Soul

Perseverance Soul
+1,000 HP+5 Walk Speed+5 Jump Power+500 Mana Points
Tem Soul
+1,000 HP+7 Walk Speed+15 Jump Power+1,000 Mana Points
Kindness Soul
+500 HP+4 Walk Speed+4 Jump Power+250 Mana PointsGuardians Grace: Gain 25 HP per kill, and gain an immunity shield lasting 1 hit (15s CD).

B-TIER

Settling into the middle tier, these souls are good choices to adopt, but find themselves outpaced in the late game. Overall, they’re pretty perfectly described as average.

Integrity Soul
+250 HP+3 Walk Speed+3 Jump Power+150 Mana PointsUnbound: Gain 25 Mana per kill, and gain a second jump.

C-TIER

Upgrades to the Human Soul. Those in this tier are ideal early-game upgrades to help enhance your build as you wander into new areas and refine your build.

Patience Soul
+100 HP+2 Walk Speed+2 Jump Power+100 Mana PointsCalm Mind: Gain 20% DMG for 3 seconds when standing still for 5 seconds.

D-TIER

This Tier exists to house the lonely Human Soul. The white soul appointed to all new players who step into the trials of Undertale… It has weak properties, but beats having no soul.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a new Soul?

All Souls require crafting via Sans Crafting in the Lobby, except the Tem Soul, which you buy from the Tem Shop. They typically require currency and several Soul Shards, which drop from bosses.

What are Sets?

Some Souls have a complimentary set. If you wear all items included in the Set at the same time, you’ll gain additional stat benefits.
