Arriving in theaters in early 2027. Directed by filmmaker Gina Prince-Bythewood, this epic African fantasy action thriller movie looks exciting. A woman blessed with magical powers by the gods is living in a place where she is forbidden to use them, so she teams up with a princess to summon the gods and bring down the oppressive regime. In the world of Orïsha, a young woman goes on a quest to reclaim the magic that was violently stolen from her people. She and her brother ally with the daughter and son of the king to fight back. The cast features Thuso Mbedu as Zélie Adebola, Damson Idris, Amandla Stenberg, Tosin Cole, Cynthia Erivo, Lashana Lynch, Zackary Momoh, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Regina King, with Idris Elba & Viola Davis.
