I’ve covered how to unlock all Haze Seas Skills, including the most popular, Flash Step. Upgrading your skills is all part of the progression in Haze Seas. Speaking of, there are Fighting Styles to upgrade from V1 to V2, all of which are mentioned in my Haze Seas Fighting Styles Tier List.
Haze Seas Skills
There are many skills and upgrades to unlock in Haze Seas, each of which has different requirements.
Flash Step
The Flash Step skill allows you to move quickly, almost as if you’re teleporting. There are three Flash Step levels, each of which requires you to unlock the previous beforehand.
Once you unlock the Level 1 Flash Step, you also obtain the Swiftstep title.

Sky Walk
Head inside the Tall Pillars near the Starter Island to find the Sky Walk NPC. The Sky Walk skill costs 20K coins to unlock, with the upgrade granting 10 Sky Walks in total.
Like Flash Step, you can unlock a new title with Sky Walk: Windwalker.
Fruit Awakenings
Some Devil Fruits can be Awakened, but you have to visit the Poneglyph NPC first. The current Awakenings in Haze Seas so far are:

To unlock an Awakening of a Devil Fruit, you need to reach 300 Mastery on that specific Fruit and have the required material, as listed above.
Gear 5 Skills
The Incurr NPC sells Gear 5 skills on Dragon Island. You cannot unlock Gear 5 skills unless you have Gear 2 Gum and Gear 4 Gum. Each skill costs 500K and 100 Gems, and requires level 3,000.
Evolution
You can evolve your Haki skills.
Observation Expert
When your Observation Haki reaches level 6, you unlock 8 Dodges, and you can see the locations of other players, even if they’re on different islands. Within 1,000 studs, you can also see their HP, Level, Stamina, and Hotbar.
To get to level 6, you need to dodge attacks from enemies. In total, 4K EXP is required, as well as a quest to complete. The Observation Expert NPC is located in the Flower Capital on the Sea 2 map.
Armament Expert
Speak with the Armament Expert in the Flower Capital on the Sea 2 map when upgrading your Armament Haki. For each level, your DMG increases, capping at +15% at level 5. A level 5 Armament Haki also grants 10% DMG resistance.
V2 Fighting Styles
Once your V1 Fighting Style reaches 300 Mastery, you can upgrade it to V2, as long as you have the required material and money. To upgrade to V2, you have to visit the Sage of Combat NPC in the Land of the Gods on the Sea 3 map on the upper floor of the building.
Other Skills
Gear 2
On Bubble Island, there’s a secret wall where you can find Yoka, the Gear 2 Trainer NPC. To unlock Gear 2, you need to pay 200K coins and reach level 750.
Black Leg Style
The Black Leg Style NPC is located in the Baratie Restaurant and sells the skill for 50K coins.
Electro Style
To unlock the Electro Style, visit the NPC, Carol. She’s located at Udon Prison on the Sea 2 map and sells the Electro Style for 450K coins.
