How to Unlock V2 Fighting Styles

Whilst each V2 Fighting Style has different unlock requirements, there is a universal method that all players have to follow when upgrading a V1 Fighting Style.

The NPC you need to speak with is the Sage of Combat, whom you can find in Sea 3. When interacting with the Sage of Combat, he lets you know if you have the right amount of Mastery and the correct items. These items are all boss drops from various bosses across the game, including those featured in Sea Events.

You cannot unlock a V2 variant of a Fighting Style if you don’t have V1. All V1 Fighting Styles are purchasable from NPCs on Starter Island in Sea 1.
