Evomon Pummash [Strengths, Weaknesses, Location]

When using the Pummash Evomon, you should take its strengths and weaknesses into account. Both this form and its first form use a singular element in Evomon: Fighting.

Evomon Pummash

Pummash is a Fighting-type Evomon and is the final form of the Pummpaw Evolution Line.

Location and How to Get Pummash

Whilst Pummash is the second form in the Evolution Line for Pummpaw, you can find both of them in Dusk Town, though there’s a higher chance to find Pummpaws. If you already have a Pummpaw, you need to level it up enough and gather the materials to evolve it into Pummash.

Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of Pummash helps you to prepare for battles, whether you have a Pummash in your team, or you’re planning on battling against one.

Pummash deals 2x more damage to these elements.

Bluebird Evolution Line [Volcrest]
Element: Flying
Volcrest’s Flying-type moves are strong against Pummash, but there are no additional effects when using the Electric-type moves that Volcrest can also wield

Chirppy Evolution Line [Chirplume and Chirphantom]
Element: Flying
Datunymph [Second Evolution Form of Databud]
Element: Psychic
Datunymphs are a hybrid of Psychic and Grass-type moves; however, it’s only the Psychic element which has a strong effect against Pummash. The Grass element has no additional effectsThe first form of Datunymph, Databud, is useless against Pummash, as it only uses the Grass-type element

Starloop Evolution Line [Starmuse]
Element: Psychic
Twirlby [Third Form of the Humding Evolution Line]
Element: Flying
The Twirlby Evomon also uses the Bug element, like its previous forms, Humding and Flutterby. Bug-type moves have no additional effects against Pummash, so only Twirlby’s Flying-type moves are worth using

Wispuff Evolution Line [Wispshade and Wisphex]
Element: Psychic
All of Wispuff’s forms within the Evolution Line [Wispshade and Wisphex] use both Psychic-type moves, as well as Poison. Poison has no additional effect against Pummash, but as we know, Psychic is extremely strong

The average base stats of Pummash, though yours may be different, especially when levelled up or equipped with Equipment.

Evolution

As mentioned, Pummash is the second form of Pummpaw once evolved. Like all other Evomon evolutions, you need Evolution Stones and the Element Stones which match Pummpaw’s element of Fighting. If you don’t have enough resources but you have spare Omni-Stones, you can use them to evolve your Evomon.

Base Stats

Pummpaw has weaker stats than Pummash, but that’s because it’s the first form of the Evolution Line. This is why you should evolve your Evomon as soon as possible to make the most of their power.
