Rocket Panda Games Japan and Shatter Flask Games have dropped some major announcements for their upcoming action platformer Cresata. The title was earlier introduced as Revenant’s Reach, but has now been rebranded with a new name and some new features.

First of all, Cresata is coming to multiple platforms in 2027. That includes PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Secondly, the teams have launched the official Kickstarter page for the game. Actual funding is scheduled to begin in late 2026.

On top of that, the game is bringing in some pretty well-known voice talent. There’s Ben Starr, known for Final Fantasy XVI and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Alongside him is Aleks Le, whose credits include Solo Leveling, Street Fighter 6, and Demon Slayer.

Also, Aleks Le is taking on multiple roles for the project. He’s serving as the voice of protagonist Phaedon, while also working as co-producer and casting director. One of his first major casting choices was selecting Ben Starr to play the game’s main antagonist, the Prime Reclaimer.

Visually, Cresata combines 2D pixel art with 3D environments, creating stages that rotate as you move through them. These dimension-bending stages allow movement in and around areas rather than simply across them.

The game also has an anime-inspired touch through its 2D character designs. It also has an Accelerated Renaissance setting, with pixel-crushed environments and uniquely themed biomes. On that note, catch a glimpse of the title right here.

Cresata is inspired by classics like Strider and Castlevania, and a bit by modern retro platformers such as Celeste

Heavily built around mobility, the game has the main character using a grappling tool called the Crescent Claw. It lets you strike in any direction, tether through environments, and pull off traversal techniques, like Slingstrike.

Combat revolves around mastering the Cresata Arts. You dash, deflect, retaliate, and tear through enemies while combining attacks with aerial movement. And add to that brutal boss encounters throughout the adventure.

You can wishlist the game on Steam now.
