Grand Theft Auto VI developer Rockstar Games has just become the first company to launch an $80 PS5 game in 2026, setting a new price standard for AAA PS5 video games after Nintendo’s first-party titles. The company confirmed this morning that the highly anticipated game will charge players $80 for the standard edition and $100 for the Ultimate Edition.

In a press release, Rockstar Games also confirmed that GTA 6, which is described as a single-player experience, will not launch on disc. The game’s boxed version will contain a download code.
There’s no mention of GTA Online or a Collector’s Edition. As for the $100 Ultimate Edition, here’s what it’ll include:
