How to Catch the Beetles in Dave the Diver: In the Jungle

Catching the beetles is different from catching the bugs in Dave the Diver: In the Jungle. You cannot use the Bug Net to catch the beetles; instead, the game introduces a one-on-one beetle fight mini-game. During Chapter 3, you will get to pursue the “Torn Bug Net” sub-mission. This mission introduces the beetle battle mini-game. It is a 1v1 battle between the beetles, where you have to control your beetle to defeat the opposing one. The fight follows the pattern of the rock-paper-scissors game. You have to choose one of the actions, and then the outcome is based on the opposing beetle’s choice.

Rock is Attack

Paper is Defend

Scissors is Heal

You must defeat the opposing Beetle to catch it. After catching a beetle, you can then use it for future fights against other beetles.
