VV Ultimatum Miscellaneous Tree [Best Skills to Unlock]

The VV Ultimatum Miscellaneous Tree unlocks a variety of skills that aren’t tied to specific races or attributes. Though some Miscellaneous skills in VV Ultimatum do require Hakuda and Strength, they’re optional.

VV Ultimatum Miscellaneous Tree

The Miscellaneous Tree works a little differently compared to the other skill trees. Instead of mainly relying on Skill Points, you need Soul Tokens; however, there are some skills further down that do require some Skill Points, as well as Hakuda and Strength.

For each skill, you need to unlock the prerequisite, so I recommend saving up some spare Soul Tokens. In my opinion, the best skill to work towards in the Miscellaneous Tree is Spiritual Potential, as this allows you to manifest your aura in VV Ultimatum. Then there’s the Spiritual Pressure skill, which further strengthens it.

All Miscellaneous Skills

Aerial Fighter

Ability:
Hold the run key as you’re using your critical attack to send your opponent flying into the air
Costs:
75 Soul Tokens

Rushdown

Ability:
After performing a heavy knockback or knocking them into the air, you can Flashstep to teleport to them
Costs:
75 Soul Tokens
Requirement:
Must unlock the Aerial Fighter skill

Drop Cancel

Ability:
Just before landing, you can Flashstep to cancel the stun
Costs:
100 Soul Tokens
Requirement:
Must unlock Rushdown
Requires Aerial Fighter skill

Then it branches out. Going left unlocks:

Spiritual Potential

Ability:
Unlock an aura meter, which you can fill when engaging in PvP. When the bar is at 100%, you can activate Spiritual Pressure, granting a temporary buff

Must unlock Drop Cancel
Requirees Rushdown, and Aerial Fighter skills

Spiritual Pressure

Ability:
Use your Spiritual Pressure, which allows you to deal more damage to weaker foes
Costs:
450 Soul Tokens

Must unlock Spiritual Potential
Requires Drop Cancel, Rushdown and Aerial Fighter skills

Going right unlocks:

Manual Rushdown

Ability:
Hold the shift key whilst Flashstepping to perform a manual rushdown, with an added startup
Costs:
125 Soul Tokens
Requirement:
Must unlock Drop Cancel
Requires Rushdown and Aerial Fighter skills

Slippery Fighter

Ability:
Use the Counter key after a successful clash to send the enemy flying into the air
Costs:
250 Soul Tokens
Requirement:
Must unlock Manual Rushdown
Requires Drop Cancel, Rushdown, and Aerial Fighter skills

There are two skill tree branches from the Manual Rushdown skill, which require Hakuda and Strength.

Hakuda Branch:

Overhead Counter

Ability:
You can counter overhead weapon attacks, increasing the Posture of enemies

One Way Ticket to Hell

Ability:
Impale your opponent with your fist if they have low HP and high Posture when you win a clash

Strength Branch:

Advanced Counter I

Ability:
Counter specific melee attacks with your feet, increasing your opponent’s Posture

Clash Proficiency

Ability:
If the opponent has low HP and medium Posture, you can execute upon winning a clash
