Wizard Alchemy Chest Locations – With Images

Since your wand won’t make the Chest hunt any easier, I’ve created this Wizard Alchemy Chest Locations guide to tell you all the known areas to find these freebies, including pictures for your convenience.

Chests encourage players to explore the vast area of Departure Isle and get their hands on rare potion materials and Gold.

So, without further ado, let’s get plundering!

Wizard Alchemy Chest Locations

All known Chest Locations for Departure Isle.

Leaderboards Chest

Head to the leaderboards found next to the Lemin (Alchemy) NPC. From here, go right past the Playtime Leaderboard and down to the sandy platform.

Lake Chest

Enter the forest where you first encounter the Pickaxe Dwarf enemies. On the left, as you walk adjacent to the lake, you’ll see a small flat stone with the chest on top. The image below shows its location in reference to the starting area.

Mines Chest

In the forest where you first encounter the Pickaxe Dwarf enemies, head to the right into the small grove with the Optimistic Miner NPC. From here, walk inside the mines (left of the wooden planks is large enough), and retrieve the chest from the centre of the room.

Note: If the Chest hasn’t spawned inside the mine, check on top of the mine instead by climbing up next to the Optimistic Miner NPC.

Traveller NPC

Locate the Traveller NPC across the rickety wooden bridge, straight from the starting area. Check behind his red tent to find a Chest.

Knife Goblins

To the right of the Traveller NPC is a small cobblestone walk leading to a Knife Goblin spawn. On the cliff edge near the waterfall, you’ll find another Chest.

Large Tree

Climb up the large tree and onto the wooden platform of the treehouse cabin. Near the entrance in the corner is the next Chest location.

Note: To climb it, head around its back and onto the large trunk with a slope. You can jump-walk up it more easily.

Dwarf King

Inside the Dwarf King Cave, behind the large chained tombstone on the right, you’ll find a special chest with glowing sigils.

Note: It’s unconfirmed whether this Chest always has sigils.

Lighthouse

Head behind the lighthouse and check the small sandy platform attached to the main island, where you’ll see another Chest.

Note: This one had engraved sigils for me, but I’m not sure if this is always true.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do Chests respawn?
After opening, Chests will respawn every few hours.
What kind of rewards do Chests give?
Typically, materials used in Potion brewing, as well as Gold.
What are the sigil-engraved Chests?
These are rare Chests that give rarer materials, and more of them. They have a higher loot pool, giving lucky finders access to better potion brewing.
Are these all the Departure Isle Chest locations?
It’s all the known ones! I wanted to document all that I’d found after doing a thorough walkaround of the entire island. Of course, I may be missing one or two.
Are the Chests dailies?
I’d say so. They respawn every few hours, so they’re not true dailies, but I think they should be one of the first tasks you complete when logging in for the day. It gives you a head start with materials, so you can focus on the brewery and making money.
