From catching bugs to picking flowers, Catch Bugs really knows how to tap into its whimsy-pilled dilly-dallying audience. I recently found the Druid NPC and completed his questline, so I want to share all I know about it in this complete Catch Bugs Druid Quest guide.
Here, I tell you where to find the Druid, what he requests, where to find the 8x Mutated Nightshade Flowers (with images), and the questline rewards.

Catch Bugs Druid Quest
For The Druid’s Brew quest, you need to harvest 8x Mutated Nightshade Flowers.

Druid Location
Head to Crawlwood and find the bridge on the left that leads to Moon Hollow. Instead of crossing, jump into the river on the left (Kenny NPC side), and swim to the end. When you see the stone with the Spider Sigil, swim downwards and then follow the path into the Druid’s Lair.
Note: You cannot drown when in water, so don’t worry if you’re confused or lost.
Mutated Nectar
Upon consumption, the Mutated Nectar applies a 2.5x Mutation Chance for the next 15 minutes.
If used with mutation-enhancing Lures, this creates an iron-clad build where you’re guaranteed a mutation more times than not. What this means is more profit when selling, or when rotating the bugs in your Vivarium.
I always recommend selecting the best bugs for your offline Vivarium to maximise profits before selling all of your inventory.

Is Mutated Nectar the rarest Potion in Catch Bugs?
Yes! It’s one of the most valuable due to its obscurity in attainment, as it’s one of the few quest potions, and cannot be bought from the Potion Merchants.
Does the Mutated Nectar Potion quest reset?
Yes, you can redo this quest once per real-world day and stockpile the potions for a longer effect.
Which Lure should I use with the Mutated Nectar Potion?
The Cherry Blossom Lure has the highest Mutation potential, at a massive 2.9x Mutation Chance, along with the stats: +40% Speed, +110% EXP Boost, and a +50% EXP when farming in Blossomwing at nighttime.
What are the other Druid Quest rewards?
Aside from the Mutated Nectar Potion, you’ll gain: $2,500, 400 EXP, and the Druid Staff Net Skin
Do the Nightshade locations change?
No, once you’re familiar with their location, you can repeat this quest daily and find them in the same spot each time.
