“Somehow the universe just put us together.” Culture Club has revealed the first official trailer for the music history documentary film titled simply Boy George & Culture Club, another look back at an iconic band fro the 80s. This premiered at last year’s 2025 Tribeca Film Festival and also played at this year’s Göteborg Film Festival as well. Culture Club emerged in 1981’s UK new romantic scene with iconic style and music. Straight from the mouths of its 4 legendary members, this documentary dives headfirst into all of the chaos, charisma and enduring bond of the influential band. Featuring George O’Dowd (aka “Boy George”), Jon Moss, Mikey Craig, Roy Hay. Tribeca adds: “Far from a typical music doc, Boy George & Culture Club is a riotously fun and unexpectedly tender film about a band that challenged the status quo of 1980s Britain and the world from its very outset.” Let’s rock! The doc is “not only a celebration of an iconic artist and era, but also a deeply human story about creativity, perseverance, and cultural influence.” It’s actually exciting to hear all the juicy details from Boy George himself telling all about those years and the experiences. Rock on. // Continue Reading ›
