“We don’t know if they’re peaceful… or hostile.” Shout Studios has revealed the official trailer for the indie sci-fi film titled Signal One, formerly known as Littlemouth, ready to watch soon. An edge-of-your-seat story that asks what happens when we learn we aren’t alone in the universe. This is dropping directly onto VOD in June – not a good sign, unfortunately. It also hasn’t popped up at any festivals or anywhere else notable before this. What if we aren’t alone in the universe? A brilliant scientist is recruited by a charismatic tech billionaire to work on a secret project that might change humanity’s place in the universe – though it comes at great risk. Are they creating some kind of black hole? This “thought-provoking” film stars Isabelle Fuhrman, Dennis Quaid, David Thewlis, Josh Hutcherson, Raoul Bhaneja. Even with interesting ideas, this still looks like an instantly forgettable film. The quality of all the footage looks direct-to-VHS not even worthy of a TV debut.
