This is really exciting! As a massive Rugrats fan, Limited Run Games has just made my day by announcing Rugrats: Retro Rewind. It’s basically the compilation of six classic Rugrats video games from the 1990s to the early 2000s.

They’re dropping Rugrats: Retro Rewind both physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. The digital copies go live on May 15th, 2026, while physical pre-orders open May 1st, 2026 and run until May 31st, 2026, on the Limited Run Games website.

Which games are part of Rugrats: Retro Rewind?

The bundle of games is pulled from the PlayStation, N64, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance era. First is Rugrats: Search for Reptar from 1998 on PlayStation, which was their first big outing and revolves around a jigsaw puzzle mystery.

Next is The Rugrats Movie game, which was based on the movie. It first launched on Game Boy and Game Boy Color and has you trying to track down Dil Pickles. Rugrats: Time Travelers is the 1999 Game Boy Color platformer that starts off in a toy store with a very tempting time machine.

After that comes Rugrats: Studio Tour, a 1990 action-adventure game that first landed on PlayStation. Here, the crew runs around different movie sets that are way more dangerous than they should be.

Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, came out across Game Boy Color, PlayStation, and N64 and drops everyone into a theme park in Paris. Finally, Rugrats: Castle Capers from 2001 on Game Boy Advance is where Angelica steals all the toys and locks them up in a fortress playground.

And of course, there are modern features

Rugrats: Retro Rewind includes screen filters if you want the old CRT TV look. It also comes with a save anywhere option, so you don’t lose progress. There’s a rewind feature and even a music player, which lets you just listen to the soundtrack without playing.
