My Mongil Star Dive Tier List ranks all characters from best to worst, but also goes over why you shouldn’t reroll. This is a rarity in gacha games, as rerolling is a popular option, but that is not the case in Mongil Star Dive.
Whilst waiting for the release of Mongil Star Dive, you may have missed the launch of the latest Final Fantasy mobile game. If so, I’ve got a Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy Tier List to get you started.

Why You Shouldn’t Reroll in Mongil Star Dive
While rerolling is sometimes encouraged in gacha games, Mongil Star Dive does the opposite. Usually, you can delete your account data when logging in with an email or social media account. But in this game, it takes 30 days for your account to be deleted. Of course, you can use a different email to counter this, but this heavily limits how many times you can reroll.
Because of this, I don’t recommend rerolling in Mongil Star Dive. It’s simply not worth the effort. There’s always a chance to get your favourite characters later on in the game as you make progress. In fact, the New Friends banner allows you to pick any Standard 5-star character after pulling 50 times with Compasses of Promise. This banner is only available for new players and will disappear once you claim your chosen character.
How the Gacha Banners Work
There are Starter Banners, Permanent Banners, and Rate Up Banners.
Starter Banners
These banners are available for new players only. As detailed above, there’s the New Friends banner, which grants you a free Standard 5-star character. There’s also the Eternal Promise banner, which drops a random Standard 5-star character within 20 pulls.
Lastly, there’s the First-Time Recruitment banner, which you unlock during the tutorial. This banner requires Compasses of Expedition and grants you a random 4-star character. It’s important to note here that you cannot get a 5-star character from the First-Time Recruitment banner.
Rate Up Banners
To pull on a Rate Up Banner, you need Compasses of Destiny. You’re guaranteed the featured 5-star character within 90 pulls. There are also three featured 4-star characters with increased drop rates, too.
Permanent Banners
Like in many gacha games, Permanent Banners are available at all times. They usually feature a roster of Standard 5-star and 4-star characters, who are obtainable outside of events and limited-time banners.
