Walk The Frog is an upcoming indie title from a studio with the same name, Walk The Frog Studio. The five-level demo went live during the Steam Next Fest Winter 2026. And now, the team has finalised the full version release date. It’s May 21st, 2026, and it’s arriving on PC and Mac through Steam.
Walk The Frog is a cosy point-and-click puzzle
The title follows Froggo, a curious little character just trying to make his way home. The journey plays out across a series of levels built from hand-drawn sticky notes. You piece together paths using simple drag-and-drop interactions. Each level introduces a new twist on the puzzle.
Froggo wants to get back to his pond in time for the Froggapalooza festival and reunite with his best friend Buddy. On the way, he runs into all kinds of characters who are funny, a little sassy, sometimes a bit demanding, but often helpful too. You can engage with optional encounters and dialogues.
Walk The Frog is structurally split into three chapters called The Forest, The Insect City, and Fields and Meadows. Across these, there are 18 levels made up of numerous illustrated sticky notes that you rearrange to create a path forward.
You sort the world out piece by piece, almost like organising a scattered desk. There are no timers or sense of urgency hanging over the puzzles. The visuals are fully hand-drawn in 2D, with a soft, crafted look. And the audio direction sticks to calm, ambient tones. Take a look at the title below.
Walk The Frog brings themes of friendship, small discoveries, and connection. Froggo’s interactions with other characters, helping them out and sometimes getting help in return, is a shared journey. If you’d like to try it, you can check out the demo or wishlist the full version on Steam.
