How to Complete A Raccoon’s Return Quest – Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
A Raccoon’s Return is a Friendship Level 10 quest for Pocahontas. It becomes available after reaching Friendship Level 10 with Pocahontas and completing the “A Little Algae Problem” quest. After fulfilling the requirements, speak with Pocahontas to initiate the A Raccoon’s Return quest.
Place the Moontide Glow Decorations
As the quest begins, you need to place a few decorations on Dazzle Beach for the Celestial Celebration. Open the furniture mode and navigate to the requests section to find the following items.
4x Moontide Glow Lamppost
1x Moontide Glow Banner
Now, place these items anywhere in the Dazzle Beach biome. Once done, speak with Pocahontas.
Investigate the Cursed Cave
After speaking with Pocahontas, head to the Cursed Cave at the end of the Dazzle Beach biome. As you enter the cave, you will spot some paw prints on the ground. Open the camera and take a picture of the paw prints. After that, return to Pocahontas and tell her about the prints.
Gather the materials for the Moontide Glow Necklace
To spot Meeko’s paw prints easily, Pocahontas can make you the Moontide Glow Necklace. However, you must first bring her the following materials.
5x Glass: Craft at the crafting station using Sand and Coal Ores.
5x Fiber: Craft at the crafting station using Seaweed.
5x White Impatiens: Grows on the ground in the Forgotten Lands biome.
5x Glowing Algae: Dig the sparkling spots on the ground (Dazzle Beach) and fish out from the golden ripples (Dazzle Beach).
After gathering all of the materials, bring them to Pocahontas so that she can create the Moontide Glow Necklaces.
Bring the Moontide Glow Necklaces to the Villagers
You need to give the Moontide Glow Necklaces to the following villagers to help locate the prints.
Cinderella
Mike
WALL-E
Open the map to find the villagers. You can also track them to locate them easily. Once done, go to the Cursed Cave and speak with Pocahontas. After that, put on the Moontide Glow Necklace and black clothes from the wardrobe.
Follow the paw prints
After putting on the Moontide Glow Necklace, you will be able to see the paw prints. Exit the cave and start following the paw prints on Dazzle Beach. The prints will lead you to the pier with a whirlpool in the water. Now, speak with Pocahontas. After that, speak with Merlin, and he will tell you to use some Raccoon Bait.
Craft the Raccoon Bait
Crafting the Raccoon Bait will require the following items.
3x Gooseberries: Grows on the bushes in Frosted Heights and Forgotten Lands biomes.
3x Raspberries: Grows on the bushes in Plaza and Peaceful Meadow biomes.
3x Blueberries: Grows on the bushes in Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor biomes.
5x Fiber: Craft at the crafting station using the Seaweed.
5x Dream Shard: Dig the sparkling spots around the Valley, feed the critters, and remove the night thorns.
Once you have all of the materials, head to the crafting station to craft the Raccoon Bait.
Bring the Raccoon Bait to Pocahontas
Now, go to Pocahontas and give her the Raccoon Bait. Follow her to the whirlpool and watch Meeko get out of the water. After that, open the inventory and read the Realmweaver’s Note. Once done, speak with Pocahontas, and the quest will conclude.
