The industry is now almost swamped with co-op games, but we still don’t get tired of them. A new one is preparing to launch on PC by the end of this year. And hence, before that, the devs are giving us a slice of the title, which is called Doomed Crew, through a Steam demo.

The title is from developer and publisher Tripped Ink Games. The full release is slated for early December 2026. It’s for 1-4 players and throws you into messy, high-risk missions where coordination starts strong but usually falls apart.

The setup is quite grim

You play as death row inmates forced into dangerous work by a brutal corporation that promises freedom if you survive. The corporation values your output more than your life, so the jobs keep getting worse.

The risks keep stacking, and the line between teammate and threat keeps blurring. The game heavily relies on trust and misdirection.

Now, the twist is simple but nasty: enemies can mimic your teammates. And since the environment itself is not exactly reliable either, you need to be on your toes all the time.

You might think you’re following a friend to safety, only to realise too late that the exit you trusted was the wrong one. Mimics are only part of the problem, since hazards are everywhere.

Doomed Crew is now available as a demo on Steam

The Doomed Crew demo offers randomised locations, along with loadout selection and upgrades. You get 10+ modifiers and can choose between Easy, Regular, and Hard difficulties. You’ll get to tackle 5+ different objectives.

The demo also introduces a refreshed progression system where your currency, called DT, along with skins and unlocks, will carry over. It also offers Xbox Controller support. So, check it out on Steam.
